A highly innovative and creative man, Louis came up with the idea of gathering together the bits and pieces of discarded glass thrown off in the production of stained glass windows and using these pieces to form unique and beautiful decorative lamps. So beautiful and unique were his lamp creations that they became known as Tiffany Lamps.
